Popular Nigerian television evangelist, T.B. Joshua, has predicted a close contest in the United States (US) elections of November 8. He however predicts that Hillary Clinton will be declared winner at the end of the polls.
The televangelist popularly referred to by his teeming followers as ‘The Prophet’ disclosed this through a prophecy on his official Facebook page.
Joshua said he received the prophecy ten days ago. He added that Hillary’s presidency will face several challenges in the governance process, ‘‘The boat of the new President will be rocked,’‘ he wrote.
Part of his post read, “I saw the new President of America with a narrow win. The new President will be facing several challenges over many issues, including: passing bills, (and) attempts to possibly pass a vote of no confidence on the new President.
“By the way, in order not to keep you in suspense, what I frankly saw is a woman.”
The US votes tomorrow in a closely contested poll that pits former first lady, Senator and Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton against businessman Donald John Trump.
The campaign of both candidates have been acrimonious and largely controversial. Trump has been saddled by sexual abuse allegations whiles Clinton on the other hand has been hit by an email scandal during her time in office as Secretary of State.
The winner of the election will replace Barack Obama at the White House. Obama, the first African American to rise to the office of president served two terms (between 2008 – 2016). The winner of Tuesday’s poll becomes the 45th president of the US.
